History

Our Story

The Sotiriou family released its first product, the classic red dye, for Easter of 1945 under the brand name NIKH (NIKI) in Piraeus, Greece. 

NIKI egg dyes became a well-established brand with a major presence in the Greek market.

In 1988 the company expanded adding the brand PASCHALIA to its product line. 

PASCHALIA were the first nontoxic dyes, with E.U. specifications, packaged specifically for dying eggs, available in red, blue, green, yellow and featuring 10 self-adhesive decals for egg decoration.

Product that met the different needs and preferences of consumers, this time.

The company is now in its fourth generation, and maintaining our commitment to evolving and developing quality products and in 2021 launched the PASCHALIA Liquid dye, classic red in a 50ml bottle (made from 100% recycled plastic) offering consumers an easy and practical dyeing experience.

Product that responded immediately, mainly in overseas markets (Canada, EU), available in Greek and English language. By agreement in French and German. Wholesale sale.

Our goal and priority is developing new methods of production, packaging and storage for our range of products and providing consumers with quality food grade egg dyes. 

We export directly to Australia, Canada, France, Holland, Germany, Cyprus, Sweden and our range is also available via distributors in Switzerland, Romania Bulgaria, Albania, Turkey. 

Quality Policy

 • We source raw materials from European-certified Houses such as BASF SA, Aromata Group, Softer Color s.r.l.

 • All our cooperating suppliers comply with the rules and standards as defined and derived from the REACH regulation on chemical products.

 • Since 2005 our company developed and adheres to a special coding and traceability system in the production of its products.
